About Children's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University
Established in 1953, the Children's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University (also known as Nanjing Children's Hospital) is a Grade 3A pediatric hospital - the highest rating in China's hospital classification system. It serves as the Jiangsu Province Red Cross Children's Hospital and is a premier pediatric medical institution in Eastern China.
The hospital integrates clinical care, research, teaching, rehabilitation, preventive healthcare, and public health outreach. With approximately 2,360 staff, including 79 chief physicians and numerous senior specialists, we provide comprehensive pediatric services to over 2.66 million outpatient/emergency visits annually.
As the main pediatric training base for Nanjing Medical University, we educate students from clinical medicine, pediatrics, public health, and allied disciplines. Our research achievements include publishing 107 SCI papers in 2018, securing 16 National Natural Science Foundation projects, and earning 26 patents.
