Hospital Overview
CURE Children’s Hospital of Uganda in Mbale is Africa’s largest and most experienced pediatric neurosurgery hospital. Founded in 2000 by CURE International (Christian charity), it provides free or heavily subsidized treatment to children with brain tumors, hydrocephalus, spina bifida, epilepsy, and other neurological conditions. It is the primary training center for neurosurgeons across Africa.
