Founded on March 1, 1931, as the Sino-Belgian Radium Institute, FUSCC was the first dedicated cancer hospital in China. Today, it operates as a Grade 3, Class A teaching hospital affiliated with Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University.
The center operates across two main campuses: the main hospital in Xuhui District and the Shanghai Proton and Heavy Ion Hospital in Pudong, offering comprehensive cancer care and advanced treatments.
