How CancerCareE operates, what role it plays, and where its responsibility ends.
CancerCareE is an independent oncology information and access platform â not a healthcare provider.
CancerCareE is an independent oncology information and access platform.
We organize and publish information about cancer, treatment approaches, healthcare systems, hospitals, countries, and access pathways to help people better understand their options when exploring cancer care internationally.
CancerCareE is not a hospital, clinic, physician, healthcare provider, medical tourism agency, or treatment provider.
We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments, interpret individual medical records, or make clinical decisions on behalf of patients.
1. What CancerCareE Does
CancerCareE focuses on the information and access layer that exists before a patient enters a healthcare provider's care.
Our activities may include:
- researching and structuring publicly available and professionally recognized medical information;
- explaining cancer treatment approaches and healthcare access pathways in patient-friendly language;
- comparing countries, healthcare systems, treatment pathways, and access considerations;
- publishing information about hospitals and other healthcare institutions;
- explaining practical considerations related to international cancer care;
- identifying selected healthcare institutions and medical travel partners that may be able to assist international patients;
- facilitating an initial connection between a user and a selected provider when the user explicitly requests contact.
Our role is primarily informational and connective. It does not extend to the provision or management of medical care.
2. What CancerCareE Does Not Do
CancerCareE does not:
- diagnose cancer or any other medical condition;
- prescribe medication or treatment;
- determine which treatment a patient should receive;
- replace a physician or other licensed healthcare professional;
- provide individual medical advice;
- review or interpret medical records for the purpose of making a clinical decision;
- provide a medical diagnosis based on information submitted by a user;
- perform medical procedures;
- provide hospital or clinical services;
- manage a patient's treatment;
- arrange or supervise medical care;
- guarantee admission to a hospital or treatment program;
- guarantee eligibility for a treatment, clinical trial, or therapy;
- guarantee treatment outcomes;
- guarantee a particular price, waiting time, treatment duration, or clinical result.
Any medical decision must be made by the patient together with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
3. CancerCareE Is Not a Medical Tourism Agency
Although CancerCareE may provide information about international healthcare access and may introduce users to selected medical travel companies, CancerCareE itself does not operate as a medical tourism agency.
We do not:
- sell medical travel packages;
- arrange flights or accommodation;
- provide visa services;
- accompany patients during treatment;
- manage hospital admission;
- collect hospital payments on behalf of patients;
- negotiate or enter into treatment contracts on behalf of patients;
- supervise treatment or post-treatment care.
Where a user chooses to contact a hospital or an independent medical travel company, the relationship with that provider is established directly between the user and that provider.
4. Information Does Not Constitute Medical Advice
Information published on CancerCareE is provided for general educational and informational purposes.
Medical information can change as scientific evidence, clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and treatment availability evolve.
The presence of information about a treatment, hospital, country, clinical trial, or technology on CancerCareE does not mean that it is appropriate for every patient.
A treatment described on the platform may be:
- unavailable in a particular country;
- available only for specific indications;
- subject to eligibility requirements;
- available only through a clinical trial;
- subject to regulatory restrictions;
- inappropriate for a particular patient.
Users should obtain individualized medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about diagnosis or treatment.
5. Information About Hospitals and Providers
CancerCareE may publish information about hospitals, healthcare institutions, medical travel companies, and other organizations involved in international healthcare access.
The inclusion of an organization on the platform does not, by itself, constitute:
- a medical recommendation;
- a guarantee of clinical quality;
- a guarantee of treatment success;
- an endorsement of a specific physician or treatment;
- a guarantee of admission or eligibility.
Healthcare providers operate independently from CancerCareE and remain responsible for the medical services they provide.
Users should independently verify current information, availability, eligibility, pricing, credentials, and contractual terms directly with the relevant provider before making decisions.
6. Connecting Users With Providers
CancerCareE may offer users the option to request contact from a selected hospital or medical travel partner.
Where a user chooses this option, CancerCareE may share the contact information necessary for the selected provider to contact the user.
CancerCareE does not make a clinical decision on behalf of the user as part of this connection.
The provider may independently communicate with the user, request additional information, conduct its own assessment, determine eligibility, provide pricing, and discuss available services.
Any subsequent relationship, agreement, payment, treatment decision, or healthcare service is between the user and the relevant provider.
CancerCareE is not a party to that medical or commercial relationship.
7. No Medical Records Required
CancerCareE is designed so that users do not need to submit medical records merely to access the information published on the platform.
CancerCareE does not request medical records as part of its ordinary informational function.
Users should not submit pathology reports, imaging files, laboratory results, prescriptions, or other detailed medical records through a general website contact form unless a specific process clearly states otherwise.
If a user voluntarily provides information to a third party after being connected with that provider, the handling of that information is governed by the privacy practices and policies of the relevant third party.
For information about data collected directly through CancerCareE, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
8. Commercial Relationships and Independence
CancerCareE may establish commercial relationships with selected hospitals, healthcare organizations, and medical travel companies.
In some circumstances, CancerCareE may receive compensation from a partner for a qualified referral or lead generated through the platform.
Users are not charged by CancerCareE for requesting or receiving an introduction to a partner.
A commercial relationship does not mean that CancerCareE provides a medical recommendation or guarantees the quality or outcome of the provider's services.
Commercial relationships and their potential influence on referrals are addressed through our Financial Transparency policy.
CancerCareE aims to maintain a clear distinction between:
- informational content,
- commercial relationships, and
- clinical decision-making.
9. No Guarantee of Availability or Outcomes
Healthcare availability can change. Hospitals may change their:
- treatment programs;
- eligibility criteria;
- clinical trial availability;
- pricing;
- waiting times;
- international patient policies;
- regulatory permissions;
- physician availability.
Information published by CancerCareE may therefore become outdated despite reasonable efforts to review and update it.
CancerCareE does not guarantee that any treatment, hospital, clinical trial, physician, price, or healthcare service described on the platform will remain available or accessible to a particular user. Clinical outcomes are inherently individual and cannot be guaranteed.
10. Third-Party Information and External Websites
CancerCareE may reference or link to external websites, publications, hospitals, healthcare organizations, scientific sources, and other third-party resources.
These third parties operate independently from CancerCareE.
CancerCareE does not control the content, availability, privacy practices, pricing, policies, or services of external websites.
Users should review the relevant third party's own terms, privacy policy, medical information, and contractual conditions before relying on or purchasing any service.
11. Accuracy and Updating of Information
CancerCareE makes reasonable efforts to use credible and relevant sources when developing its content.
Depending on the subject, sources may include:
- recognized clinical guidelines;
- peer-reviewed scientific literature;
- official healthcare institutions;
- governmental or regulatory sources;
- recognized medical organizations;
- publicly available institutional information.
However, no information platform can guarantee that every published detail is complete, current, or free from error at all times.
Where appropriate, CancerCareE may identify publication dates, update dates, and source information so users can better understand the context and currency of published material.
If you identify an apparent factual error or outdated information, you may contact CancerCareE so that the information can be reviewed.
12. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for making their own healthcare decisions with appropriate professional guidance.
Before relying on information published on CancerCareE, users should consider:
- whether the information applies to their individual situation;
- whether the information remains current;
- whether a treatment is approved or available in their jurisdiction;
- whether they meet the relevant eligibility criteria;
- whether the provider has independently confirmed availability;
- the total financial and practical implications of pursuing care internationally.
CancerCareE does not ask users to rely on the platform as a substitute for professional medical care.
13. Children and Vulnerable Individuals
CancerCareE content may concern conditions affecting children and other vulnerable individuals.
Information on the platform is not intended to replace appropriate care from qualified healthcare professionals.
Where a patient is a minor or otherwise unable to make healthcare decisions independently, the relevant parent, guardian, or legally authorized representative should obtain appropriate professional guidance and make decisions in accordance with applicable law.
14. Changes to This Framework
CancerCareE may update this Legal Framework as its platform, services, partnerships, technology, or applicable legal requirements evolve.
The latest version published on this page will represent the current framework governing the platform's stated role and operating boundaries.
Where a material change affects how users' information is handled or how the platform operates, additional notice may be provided where appropriate.
15. Our Core Boundary
The simplest way to understand CancerCareE is:
We provide information. We clarify access pathways. When requested, we can help establish an initial connection with selected providers.
We do not provide medical care or make clinical decisions.
The medical decision belongs to the patient and their qualified healthcare professional.
The healthcare service belongs to the healthcare provider.
The contractual relationship with a medical travel company belongs to the patient and that company.
CancerCareE remains an independent information and access layer between these stages.
Important Notice
This Legal Framework describes the intended operational role of CancerCareE. It is not a substitute for professional legal advice and does not create a physician-patient, hospital-patient, agency, fiduciary, or treatment relationship between CancerCareE and a user.
Because the legal entity and applicable operating jurisdiction of CancerCareE may change as the platform develops, jurisdiction-specific legal information may be added or amended when the relevant legal structure is established.
